Ein kleiner Ausblick

Vor zwei Wochen konntet Ihr einen Einblick in unsere Dreharbeiten erhalten, heute gibt es nochmals eine besondere Vorschau. Im Anschluss an unsere letzten Dreharbeiten im Mai geht der Film in die Postproduktion. Diese beinhaltet zuerst den Schnitt des Films und anschließend aufwändige Visual Effects, die ein Science Fiction-Film so mit sich bringt. Auf der visuellen Seite geht es dann weiter mit dem Color Grading, d.h. der Farbkorrektur und der Kreation des finalen Looks. Die auditive Hälfte der Postproduktion befasst sich mit dem Tonschnitt, dem Sound Design und der Komposition und Produktion des Filmsoundtracks. Letztendlich werden in der Tonmischung alle Elemente der Klangkulisse zu einem stimmigen Gesamtbild gewebt.

Genug der Erklärungen – heute zeige ich Euch eine kurze Demonstration aus den Visual Effects-Arbeiten. Was Ihr zu sehen bekommt, befindet sich noch in einem sehr frühen Stadium – dennoch kann man damit schon gut erahnen, in welche Richtung wir uns bewegen. Two weeks ago you got a glimpse of our shoot and today there’s a special preview once more. Following our final days of shooting in May the film will go into postproduction. This means first of all the editing of the film and after that very sophisticated visual effects which naturally come with making a science fiction film. On the visual side of things we’re then moving on with color grading and the creation of our final look. The auditory part of postproduction deals with sound editing, sound design and the composing of the film soundtrack. Finally during audio mixing all these elements of the soundscape will be weaved into a coherent whole.

But enough explaining – today I’ll show you a short demo of the visual effects works. What you’ll get to see is in a very early stage but one can already see the direction we’re moving towards.
